940 is part of a batch of Omnidekkas bought from new for use on the old Lilac 23/24 line (along with 941-944). In 2010 940 became GO2 Silver Spare and was one of the first vehicles in this colour scheme. 940-944 feature Nottingham Network's newest interior upholstery (despite at the time) all 4 being 'GO2 spare'. 940 features a white plastic cycle screwed in on the top deck. In August 2013 940 underwent a minor change on her exterior when the GO2 logos were removed and "Nottingham City Transport - Your Frequent City Bus Network" were added. This marked the end of GO2 and Network Spares, and these Spare vehicles are now used across both brands. In September 2014 940 received a cash tray so she could be used on Pathfinder and Citylink services (the cash tray was removed and added to 904 in April 2015 to standerdise the type of vehicle used on the Pathfinder route; 901,2 and 3 also have cash trays) In the Autumn of 2015 940 recieved an extended buggy bay, making the lower 34F To contribute your own info, click here!
